Description
Cheznuts sweetened chestnut puree is a delicious textured chestnut puree. Unlike the European chestnut puree, it has pieces of chestnut throughout making it the chestnut equivalent of crunchy peanut butter except that the chestnut pieces are soft and luscious. The puree is made from all natural ingredients including organic vanilla and the taste is full and rounded with caramel and maple syrup tones.

It’s like jam, very sweet and only has a very faint chestnut flavour, with a hint of vanilla. Quite different to the Crème de Marrons I had before.

Thank you for your comment Annick. We’ve tried to make our puree unique by adding small pieces of chestnut whilst keeping the overall flavour of creme de marron. It’s great to hear that we’re not too far off the mark! Thank you.
