My Umbrian Kitchen by Patrizia Simone

Last October our good friend and chestnut supporter Patrizia Simone launched her beautiful book “My Umbrian Kitchen”. Patrizia is the powerhouse behind Simone’s Restaurant in Bright and her book features many of her favourite dishes. When she showed me the proofs last year my heart raced when I got to the chapters of Autumn, I wanted to see if she had included any chestnut recipes.

 

True to her love of our humble chestnut she has over 10 recipes featuring chestnuts – more than in any other general cookbook I have ever seen. How wonderful!!
