Made by Sabaton in France, from chestnuts grown in the Ardèche PDO certified region. The chestnuts are carefully peeled then candied and preserved in their syrup. They are luscious and decadent and beautifully presented in a specially shaped jar. Stocks are limited, so be quick.
Sabaton are experts in preserving chestnuts and after three generations of experience and knowledge they really know how to get the very best from this humble nut. The flavour is exquisite and how they manage to get the soft velvety texture of the chestnuts never ceases to amaze me.
